Setting up employees on the NEC SV9100 to work remotely takes a few steps.

First, All NEC SV9100 have the capability to deploy remote VOIP phones. The only question is to whether you have the hardware currently installed or you need to add it.

Second, you need to confirm with your internet provider (Verizon/Spectrum/Cablevision/Lightpath), whether you have a static ip address on your internet circuit. If you don’t, you just need to call them and have them add it. It is usually about an additional $10.00 a month for a static ip address to be added to you internet circuit.

Third, Purchase the remote ip phones and licenses and deploy your phones.
